Carboxyl Quantum Dots are a group of water soluble core/shell quantum dots with reactive group of carboxylic acid, which allows covalent amide bond formation to proteins/peptides via primary amine (NH2) groups. Their surface is specifically engineered with a polymer coating for high binding capacity and low non-specific binding. Carboxyl Quantum Dots are very stable in most buffer solutions in the pH range of 5-10.
